Volga-Dnper Il-76 at PDX

On May 4th 2014 a Volga-Dnper Il-76 ( RA-76952 ) came in to PDX from Houston, TX (IAH) and left on the 5th to Keflavik Int'l airport (BIKF) in Iceland. I'm not sure what it was doing here but it sure brought out the spotters, there were about 10 spotter, including me that came out to PDX that day. For best video quality please visit my YouTube here

This UPS Boeing 767-300F (N311UP) lines up and holds for takeoff. The lighting that day was amazing.

This Cessna 650 is owned by 533MA LLC in Portland, OR and is taxing to 10L.

 

A Seaport airlines Cessna 208. Grand Caravan (N1026V) taxis to runway 10L for its flight to either North Bend, OR or Pendleton, OR.

 

N248EC is a 1998 Raytheon Hawker 800 XP owned by EC Aviation LLC in Beaverton, OR. It landed 10 left.

I was luck to have caught Horizon's University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolves livery (N443QX) befor they moved it up to Anchorage to be based at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC/PANC).

 

Alaska Airlines Spirit of the islands livery (N560AS) on final for runway 28L. I think this is my favorite livery.

I got really lucky about a week ago when to USMC F/A-18 Hornets flew in to PDX, they were from the Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 232. Nicknamed the "Red Devils", the squadron is based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego California.

Also, PDXs resident F-15s fave been parking in a new place. (Below)
